At the University of Peshawar, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) is dedicated to streamlining the grant application process for our faculty members and Principal Investigators (PIs). We act as a central hub, providing the administrative, financial, and strategic support you need to successfully navigate complex funding landscapes.

Whether you are applying for a Higher Education Commission (HEC) grant, a national technology fund, or an international collaborative award, our dedicated team is here to guide you from the initial concept pitch to the final project closeout. Call Announcement
ORIC actively monitors and circulates national and international funding opportunities to UoP departments. Once a relevant call is identified, we provide faculty with detailed guidelines, eligibility criteria, and institutional deadlines.
Proposal Submission
Principal Investigators (PIs) develop their research proposals using the specific templates required by the funding agency. The ORIC team is available during this phase to assist with budget formulation, technical formatting, and alignment with the sponsor's strategic goals.
Review & Endorsement
Before final submission, all proposals must pass through ORIC for an institutional compliance review. We verify budget accuracy, ethical clearance, and legal requirements, concluding with the official endorsement and signature of the Vice-Chancellor or ORIC Director.
Grant Management
Upon successful awarding of the grant, ORIC facilitates the administrative onboarding of the project. We assist in opening dedicated project accounts, managing initial fund disbursements, and ensuring all procurement aligns with both UoP and sponsor regulations.
Monitoring & Reports
Sustaining the grant requires strict adherence to project timelines. ORIC partners with PIs to track deliverables and compile mandatory technical and financial progress reports, ensuring seamless compliance and the timely release of subsequent funding tranches.
